After receiving spiritual food, the Controllers Generation II 4-H Club in conjunction with “I Love Me” Ministry gave away fruits, vegetables and dairy products at Purpose for Praise Ministry Church.
The March 21 food giveaway was part of National Nutrition Month.
The participants lined up and were given bags to choose the quantity they wanted. Pastor Petro Jordan said he was overwhelmed with the amount of food available to be given away. Food was also delivered throughout the neighborhood.
The club and ministry are also collecting canned food and personal care items to be distributed.
