The Noxapater basketball team picked up a much-needed sweep of Clarkdale last week.
The Lady Tigers began the night with a 34-28 win over the Lady Bulldogs and the Tigers finished it with a 48-35 win over the Bulldogs.
In other action last week, the Tigers lost 67-45 to Pisgah while the Lady Tigers lost 52-14 to the Lady Dragons.
Noxapater will return to action this week as they were to host Union on Tuesday and will travel to Sebastopol on Thursday.

Clarkdale 35
The Tigers jumped out to an early lead and cursed to a 13-point win over the Bulldogs.
Noxapater led 14-5 at the end of the first and 22-8 at the half. The Bulldogs cut the lead to 30-21 going into the fourth. The Tigers used an 18-14 advantage in the fourth to take the win.
K.D. Carter led a balanced scoring attack for the Tigers with 12 points while Ryan Whitfield had 11 points. Bryan Glass had eight points while Jordan Wilson had seven points and Chris Roberts chipped in six.

Clarkdale 28
The Lady Tigers used a big second period and took a six-point win over the Lady Bulldogs.
After each team scored five points in the first period, Noxapater outscored Clarkdale 14-6 in the second to lead 19-11 at the half. The Lady Tigers outscored the Lady Bulldogs 10-4 in the third to lead 29-15 at the end of the third.
Morgan Hunter led Noxapater with 12 points while Raven Waggoner added nine point.s
Pisgah boys 67,
Noxapater 45
The Dragons built a big lead and never looked back as they took a 22-point win over the Tigers.
Pisgah led 17-9 at the end of the first and 31-20 at the half. The Dragons pulled away in the third, outscoring the Tigers 26-12 to lead 57-32 at the end of the third.
Ryan Whitfield led Noxapater with 16 points while Jordan Wilson had 13 points. Bryan Glass also had 10 points.
Pisgah girls 52,

The Lady Dragons used a big first period to take a blowout win over the Lady Tigers.
Pisgah led 21-5 at the end of the first and 34-12 at the half. Pisgah then outscored Noxapater 18-2 in the second half to take the win.
Morgan Duran led Noxapater with six points.
