The Winston County 4-H Horse Club invites riders of all skill levels to join their meetings and clinics.
Children ages 5-18 are welcome to bring their horses to ride or watch and learn.
The next meeting and clinic will be held on November 26th from 6-8 pm at the Louisville coliseum.
4-H ambassador and trainer Tom McBeath will be the clinician.

Roping Clinic
The Winston County 4-H Horse club held a Roping clinic with Cody Warner and crew at the Louisville Coliseum on
September 24th, 2019. Riders of all levels had the chance to receive one-on-one instructions how to built a loop, rope handling and practice their skills on the roping dummy.
Showmanship
Local trainer Greg Bermond was on hand to instruct 4-H Club members on October 1st, 2019. Bermond is a Koskousiko-based trainer specializing in Western Pleasure and Showmanship.
Children had the chance to practice drills to improve their horsemanship skills and some one-on-one instructions.
Barrel Racing clinic
Louisville's own Ashley and Quay Eaves were on hand for a free barrel Racing clinic on October 22nd, 2019.
Participants were able to practice patterns and drills on barrels. Quay focused on slow work and offered advice how to improve
horsemanship skills. Ashely was able to work with the younger participants individually to improve their confidence and skills.
