Mississippians will head to the polls March 10 to vote in primary elections that include candidates for president.
Democrats will choose from 10 candidates to face the Republican nominee for president in the November general election.
Mississippi voters will also vote for candidates in the state's four U.S. Congressional districts and in a U.S. Senate race.
The Mississippi Primary, takes place on Tuesday, March 10, and absentee balloting is currently underway. Voters can get absentee ballots at the Winston County Circuit Clerk’s office.
Circuit Clerk Kim Ming noted that her office will be open on the two Saturdays before the primary, February 29 and March 7, until noon for absentee voting which is already underway.
March 7 will be the last day to vote in person at the Circuit Clerk’s office, and March 9 is the cut-off for mail-in ballots.
