Electric customers in the city of Eupora and surrounding areas will experience a short power outage starting Saturday morning, Sept. 28, at midnight and lasting for approximately four hours.
A second power outage will begin Monday morning, Sept. 30, at midnight and will last for around four hours.
These outages are necessary as Tennessee Valley Authority performs scheduled maintenance work on the transmission system affecting Natchez Trace Electric Power Association customers. This maintenance will help to ensure TVA can continue to deliver 99.999 percent power reliably.
