It was a rough week on the diamond for the Noxapater Tigers as they suffered two blowout losses.
The Tigers were blanked 15-0 by Lake and 16-0 by Forest in their only action last week.
Noxapater has just two games scheduled this week as they will host West Lowndes on Tuesday in a non-division contest. They will play at West Lowndes on Friday at 5 p.m.
Lake 15, Noxapater 0
The Tigers fell to Lake for the second time in four days in a run-rule loss on Tuesday in Forest.
Lake scored four in the first, followed by five in the second and third innings.
Lake had eight hits in the game while Noxapater had four but committed seven errors.
Ty Duran led Noxapater at the plate, going 2-for-2 while Depodray Coburn and Zach Kimbrel each had singles.
Landon Bailey got the start and pitched two innings, giving up nine runs on three hits and two walks while striking out two. Lane Bailey pitched the last two innings, giving up six runs on five hits and one walk.
Forest 16, Noxapater 0
The Bearcats put up crooked numbers in every inning in a four-inning, run-rule loss.
Forest scored two in the first and fourth innings along with eight in the second and four in the third.
Noxapater only had one hit, a single by Landon Bailey.
Hunter Johnson got the start and pitched 1 1/3 innings, giving up 10 runs on six hits and four walks while striking out two. Nick Stone pitched the final 2 2/3 innings, giving up six rns on six hits while striking out two.
Lady Tigers back in action

The Noxapater Lady Tigers will get back to action this week after a wet spring break week.
The Lady Tigers actually started a game with Eupora on Friday but only played one inning and were down 10-1 when the rains set in and called the contest.
The Lady Tigers will get back to work this week as they are scheduled to host Ethel on Tuesday. They will host Ray Brooks on Friday before playing two games in the Sebastopol Tournament on Saturday, where they will take on St. Andrews and Scott Central.
