Eupora High School Band hosted the second Summer Cruisin’ Car Show on June 15 on Main Street.
There were entries from Brandon, Kosciousko, Aberdeen, Pontotoc, Tupelo, Southaven and Olive Branch, along with local entries.
Several local businesses helped sponsor the event and were able to vote for their favorite vehicle. The car owner was awarded a sponsorship plaque.
Trophies were awarded for first through fifth place. Patrons visiting the car show were able to vote for their favorite as well. The winner was awarded the People’s Choice trophy.
In addition to the car show, Eupora High School Band Boosters held their annual $3,000 drawdown raffle.
A petting zoo, sponsored by Dr. Dustin Smith of Sky Family Dental of Eupora, was enjoyed by both the young and the old.
Door prizes donated by area businesses were raffled off. Eupora Volunteer Fire Department, Brittany Patterson Face Painting and Mary the Grapes Bows also participated in the festivities.
The band sincerely appreciates all of those businesses and individuals that helped make this event a great success. We are looking forward to next year already!
