Residents of Eupora have a new option when it comes to oral healthcare. Dustin Smith, DMD, has opened Sky Family Dental of Eupora.
Smith, who practiced dentistry for nearly 20 years, saw an opportunity in serving the residents of Webster County.
“Eupora is a growing community and I’m excited to be a part of that growth. My hope is to provide residents with the dental care they need at a price they can afford,” Smith said.
The practice held its grand opening July 26 at noon at its new location at 200 Meadowlane St. Several communities members, including members of the Eupora Rotary Club, came out to show their support.
“I would like to welcome Dr. Smith and staff to the city of Eupora. May your business be quite prosperous,” Mayor Lamar Dumas said.
Smith is no stranger to the region, having earned his undergraduate from Mississippi State University before attending dental school.
“I grew up in a small town. My father was a dairy farmer so being in a rural community again is a chance for me to get back to my roots,” Smith said.
Sky Family Dental of Eupora accepts many major insurance plans, including most PPOs, as well as cash and major credit cards. Financing is available through CareCredit and the practice is accepting Medicaid patients.
The practice offers preventative, restorative and cosmetic procedures, prosthetics, pediatric dentistry and same-day emergency services. Sedation options are available for those with extreme anxiety about dental visits.
Smith said he looks forward to serving all Eupora residents from small children to senior citizens and every age in between.
“No matter how old you are, a healthy smile is a critical component of overall health. Our goal is to help Eupora residents achieve the smile they’ve always wanted so they can lead healthier, happier lives,” Smith said.
