The Eupora Rotary Club recognized senior Bailey Brown as Rotary Student of the Month from East Webster High School at its Dec. 4 luncheon. She was introduced by Teacher of the Month Dawn Gaskin.
At EWHS, Brown is secretary of the Interact Club, vice president of the Beta Club, and member of the Book Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is also a Merit Scholar and Honor Roll student. She is enrolled in a number of AP courses and has completed 21 hours of dual-enrolled classes through Holmes Community College.
Her volunteer activities include singing at the NMMC-Eupora Long-Term Care facility, volunteering at a benefit for Phillip Vaughan, and contributing to and working for school fundraisers to assist in the development of the House of Hope in Uganda.
Brown plans to attend Mississippi State University.
