The 41st Annual Adult Red Hills Art Association Competition was held May 13.
The winners have been announced and are: Fine Arts 1st place “Carmen” Marsha Eldridge, 2nd place “Biloxi Bay Gray” Melanie McNeel, 3rd place “Old Memory” W. G. Sims. Crafts 1st place “Tall Lady” Susan Clark. Photography 1st place”Fire on the Water” Landon McMinn.
The artworks are on display at the Libary through May 25 at the Winston County Library. The art show will be open to the public on during the Library hours May 22 to 24 and Saturday, May 25 for the Red Hills Arts Festival.
Art contest judge, Jeffrey Hodges noted “Nice mix of subjects and media. It is great to see a show full of great work. I am pleased to see the arts thriving in Louisville.”
