The First United Methodist Church of Louisville, located at the corner of Church Street and Main Street, announces a three night Revival to be held on November 3-5 in the First UMC Sanctuary.
On Sunday, November 3, the preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Danny Rowland, retired elder in the Mississippi Conference of the United Methodist Church. Dr. Rowland served 11 appointments in the Mississippi Conference of the United Methodist Church and served Louisville FUMC as Associate Pastor from 1979 to 1982. The service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
On Monday, November 4, the preacher will be Rev. Pamela Cameron of Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Terry, MS. Rev. Cameron, an elder in the Mississippi Conference of the United Methodist Church, served Louisville FUMC as Youth Director and Associate Pastor from 2001-2005. The service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, November 5, the preacher will be Rev. Dr. John Ed Mathison, retired elder from Alabama. Dr. Mathison served 36 years as Senior Pastor of Frazer Memorial UMC in Montgomery, Alabama. Under his leadership, Frazer UMC grew from 400 members to 9000 and had the largest Sunday School attendance for United Methodist churches in America. At his retirement, Frazer UMC had eight Sunday morning worship services at the Atlanta Highway campus. The service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
