The annual Sam D. Hamilton Noxubee Refuge Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Refuge Visitor Center.
Exhibitors include the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, Mississippi Bat Working Group, Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, MSU Cobb Institute of Archaeology, MSU Dunn-Seiler Museum, MSU Entomology, MSU Poultry Science, MSU Wood Magic Science program, MSU College of Veterinary Medicine, MSU Wildlife Society, Corps of Engineers Water Safety project, and US Fish and Wildlife Service law enforcement trailer.
There will also be a story time program for kids, live music, a drum circle at 11 a.m. and a yoga class at noon.
Activities available from 10 to 2 include face painting, crafts, and canoeing and kayaking.
Free hotdogs and drinks will be available.
