DEATHS: We regret to note the sad death of Mr. A. P. Halfacre who died at his home four miles east of town Wednesday morning after a weeks’ illness. He was about 40, and was a clever citizen, good father and husband. - The death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lutha Farish and took for its victim their only jewel, little Eva May, on Jan. 5th, whom God the Father had seen fit to spare to brighten our home a few days over fourteen months. It is so hard to give her up, but Jesus said, come higher, too pure for earth, come, make the heavens brighter. “Auntie” - In memory of little Dorace Gondene Sullivan, who on August 12, 1919 was taken by an angel, taking her home. She only lived to brighten this world 9 months and 17 days. To know her was to love her. How we miss her. She was sick only a short time, and her suffering was untold. Weep not, dear parents, for little Dorace is in heaven. From one who loved her, Aunt Ethel.
