Death, which knows not the weight of sleep or weariness, nor rank, nor age, on March the 15th, 1919, called at the home of Rev. E. L. Taylor, a few miles east of Ackerman and took away his beloved wife, Mrs. N. E. Taylor. The deceased was born in Choctaw county, Miss., on the 13th day of December 1862, and was at the time of her death 56 years, 3 months, and 2 days. She was married to Rev. E. L. Taylor on December 31st, 1890. She left surviving her a husband, four children, two grandchildren, and one brother. She united with Bethlehem Baptist Church about 25 years ago., and lived a consecrated, Christian life until her death. The deceased was afflicted for quite a long time with tuberculosis, but she bore her afflictions with Christian resignation and an aiding hope of eternal life through the mediation of a crucified Savior. All that loving hands of family and friends could do was done, but the Savior claimed her for His own and at the time stated passed to rest eternal.
We desire to thank the people in this community and others for their kindness shown us in the accident that happened to our home which was destroyed by fire. They have been kind enough to make up a nice amount of things and gave us in place of the ones that were destroyed. Again, we thank you and may the crown of glory rest on you all now and forever. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kyle and Children.
