Students who have been offered scholarships at Itawamba Community College for 2018 include Sadie McKnight of Ackerman, ACT Achievement Incentive, Leadership.
McKnight will be a 2018 graduate of Choctaw County High School where she has participated in chorus, Madrigals (four years), sextet (four years), Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Beta Club (president), cross country and concession stand worker.
Her honors include Madrigal leader (three years), highest average awards in numerous subjects, Madrigals leadership award, Beta Club representative for talent show and ranked top 10 in class rank and GPA. McKnight’s other activities are leadership team at Ackerman Baptist Church and Sunday school teacher at Antioch Community Church. She is the daughter of Scottie and Sandra McKnight.
