Friday was our last storytime this year! We read “The Night Before Christmas.”
This was the cutest little pop-up book that was loaned to me by Marilyn Brown. The children enjoyed it so much with all the cute pop-up pictures. They were excited about Christmas. They knew it was only four more days.
We made reindeer food with honey not oats and green-colored sugar. Some of the children didn’t want to give it to the reindeer as they were eating it.
We had a Christmas party with cookies, Cheetos and Capri Suns. They went home with Christmas coloring books and pencils.
We will resume storytime Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. Come join us! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
