"My Senses Work for Me." Friday we read this story at the Maben Public Library and talked about things we can do with our five senses.
We measured the children to see how tall they were and they drew a picture showing all of the five senses with the eyes already on there.
We stopped and listened to hear. We talked about different things to smell; that things we touch can be hard, soft, rough, bumpy; and things we taste can be sour, sweet or salty.
We then made some popcorn because you can use all five senses with popcorn! Play-Doh was also fun even though you can use only three of your senses with it.
Friday we had Rani, Andrew, Jonas and James Walter Scrivener; Joshua, Lydia and Mason Thornton; John Walter and Adelyn Parker; and Troop and Vivie Halford.
