The Pharm.D. degree requires seven years of study, including one year studying at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and another year completing pharmacy rotations in and around the state.
“I am grateful to have made it through a challenging and rewarding program at the University of Mississippi,” Hendrix said. “I look forward to using the knowledge and skills that I have gained to make a difference for my future patients.”

Hendrix plans to begin his postgraduate residency at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee, where he will be receiving clinical training in areas such as trauma, burn intensive care, infectious disease, nutrition support and internal medicine.
“I am incredibly proud of this graduating class,” said David D. Allen, dean of the School of Pharmacy. “The dedication they have shown to improving the lives and the health of the people of Mississippi is inspiring and bodes very well for the future of pharmacy.”
