The people of the Maben and surrounding area, saw another new business opening March 3.
Reclaimed Vintage Woodwork & Design, after many weeks of preparation officially opened in the large building behind Springer’s Outlet.
The owner of the business is Julie Cordell Fulgham, a Webster County native who now lives in the Center Grove community in Oktibbeha County with her husband, Steve “Peanut” Fulgham. She and her family are all active members of Center Grove Baptist Church.
She has a doctorate in workforce technology and education, and only recently retired after working 29 years with Institutional Research at Mississippi State University. She also did work for Scantron out of Minnesota.
Before retiring and opening the business, she had started reworking old furniture and now has this business opened to accommodate interested people.
Her plans now are to be open on Thursday through Saturday or by appointment.
In her new business, you can find many things that will be of interest, such as old chairs, tables, beds and many other items. Of course, like many new businesses, she now has Facebook and Instagram sites.
What better way to retire than to start a new business? The people of Maben are happy Fulgham chose to stay in her home community and start a new business.
