On Wednesday, October 16, officers of Louisville Police Department arrested James Harrison, Jr. for attempted armed robbery of Gregory's Food Mart, Handy Andy, and M & A Country Mart. The incident at Gregory’s Food Mart took place on Saturday, October 12 at around 8 p.m.; the other armed robbery attempts were on the day of the arrest. Harrison was armed with a handgun during all three incidents.
Harrison, who was also charged with three counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, had an initial appearance on Friday, October 18, in Louisville Municipal Court where his bond was set at $300K for all charges. He is still in custody at the Winston-Choctaw County Regional Correctional Facility.
On Tuesday October 1st, Louisville Police Dept. arrested Lajordan Henley and Shaun Bryant for burglary of a dwelling on Adam Allen Dr. Henley was also charged with strong armed robbery at the same location. Both remain in jail on a $50K bond each.
Louisville Police Dept. is also seeking individuals responsible for the malicious mischief in the vandalism of Skweaky Clean Car Wash on South Church Avenue.
