Coley Tabb, a Eupora High graduate and currently a student at Mississippi State University studying agriculture science, was the recipient of a $5,000 academic scholarship from the Mississippi Association of Conservation Districts’ Endowment Fund.
The endowment is an independent entity established by MACD to solicit and accept funding to promote educational and informational activities focused on natural resource conservation.
This scholarship is available to sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students currently enrolled in college. It can be used at a two- or four-year college in Mississippi. It is open to students pursuing a natural resources field of study.
The Webster County Soil and Water Conservation District encourages any student that is eligible to apply for this scholarship. Five $5,000 scholarships are awarded each year.
