At the annual Mississippi Jewelers Convention which was held the last weekend of June, 2019 in Jackson, Mississippi, Mary Snow, co-owner of The Jewel Shoppe on Main Street in Louisville, Mississippi received the coveted "Jeweler of the Year Award" from Mississippi Jewelers Association (MJA). This award is not given annually, but only when someone has achieved certain criteria to be nominated and then receive a majority of the votes by Board Members. She is presently serving on the Board of Directors as Past President of MJA after serving as President from 2016-2018 and has won the ACE Design Award in 2016 and 2018. Mrs. Snow said that it was a total surprise to receive this award and is so honored to be listed with incredible Mississippi jewelers who have been chosen over the years in the association.
