The June 11 Historical Highlight speaker will be Dr. Jeff Johnson, son of Jack and Marilyn Johnson. The Johnson's served as house parents in Griffin and Craig Dorms for approximately 10 years, beginning in the mid-70's.
Jack also worked in Maintenance and Marilyn in Crafts until their retirement. Both were actively involved in French Camp Presbyterian Church, Jack as an Elder and Marilyn in the women's ministry. Their son Jeff, a dentist in Booneville, MS, will be sharing about their ministry in French Camp. July's Historical Highlight Luncheon will be on Monday, July 8. (Note the change of days!). We will enjoy music by two FCA graduates, Carolyn Scoggins Rodgers and Donna Curtis Reed. Historical Highlight Luncheons are generally held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at French Camp Presbyterian Church, featuring a speaker who shares some aspect of French Camp's history and a delicious, home-cooked meal for a $2 donation.
