The Webster County Grand Jury has returned a report of its investigations after being recalled May 21.
The grand jurors investigated 51 reported violations of law and questioned 12 witnesses, after which they returned 45 true bills recorded on 26 indictments. Six cases were no-billed, according to the report signed by Foreman James Hill.
The jurors convened in the boardroom of Eupora City Hall. A new grand jury will be empaneled during the next term of Webster County Circuit Court, which is June 17-28.
Circuit Clerk Sherry Henderson said people receiving jury summons for the June term may call 258-6287 the week before or check her office’s Facebook page to determine location — whether the new courthouse in Walthall or the Choctaw County Courthouse in Ackerman.
