What a wonderful day at church we had Sunday! We had a wonderful song service a cappella style. We really enjoyed the sweet presence of the Lord. We also missed Eva Mae Poe, who was out. We also missed James Albert Whitaker, who wasn’t feeling well.
The message was on prayer. Church, just as a car needs gas, we must also fill up on God’s presence through prayer and worship.
2 Kings 18: King Hezekiah did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that King David his father did.
He did so well the Bible says that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him. For he clave to the Lord, and the Lord was with him.
2 Kings 20: In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet of God came and said unto King Hezekiah, Get your house in order; for you will surely die.
Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, and he began to pray until he wept sore.
And the prophet with the word of the lord returned with good news from God. That God would grant his prayer by allowing Hezekiah to live healed 15 more years.
Praise God! Prayer is a powerful weapon. We must pray living by faith in obedience to Christ. God will provide. There is power in prayer. All things are possible to them that believe. With God all things are possible.
Also, please be in prayer for T.J. and family. God bless you all and have a blessed great week.
