The annual Enterprise Area Job Fair is slated for later this month in Choctaw County.
The Enterprise area of Choctaw and Webster counties will host the job fair in conjunction with the Governor’s Job Fair Network of Mississippi. It will be from 9 a.m.-noon Oct. 25 at the Choctaw County Community Center in Ackerman at 829 College St.
Several companies and universities were scheduled to be present and seeking to fill positions or offering educational opportunities that may be listed for them:
• Southeastern Timber Products LLC: lumber handler operator, maintenance technician, millwright, mechanical operator, electrical technician, auto diesel technician and rolling stock operators
• Southern Co. Services
• University of West Alabama: on-campus and 100 percent online degrees
• Federal Bureau of Prisons: correctional officers/medical
• North American Coal Corp.
• National University: Admissions advisers and adjunct instructors
