July 17-30
Wednesday Mr. Huggins started us off. He took a few weeks off so we were glad to have him back. He even sang some new songs for us.
Thursday and Friday were busy. Saturday night I went to the Bluegrass Festival. It started at 1 and we stayed till the last song was sung, which was 9:30! The door was locked when we got back it was so late but that’s OK because the nurse came to our rescue.
Sunday Lollars Grove came in to see us, Great service. Monday the Spring Valley Singers came in. She borrowed Ms. Linda and Ms. Sandra. Tuesday Louise Hill and Sandra Turner brought us a good singing.
The next Wednesday we had Donnie Buckner . He always gives a show! Thursday was the Heavenly Highway Singers and they have such great harmony. We always invite the community to join us; we have a seat warmed up for you.
Friday some went out to Wal-Mart. I heard they had a great time; didn’t take a very long time to spend all that money! Ha-ha. I stayed back and sat out in the sun . It’s fun sitting out in the sun just doing nothing.
Sunday we had a big day — had over 20 in Sunday school and church. That afternoon Maben Church of God of Prophecy came in and did a good singing. They brought some young kids too. We love it when churches do that.
