The Daughters of the American Revolution honored local veterans by placing wreaths on the veteran memorials located at the historic Depot Park and the post office in Eupora.
“We are so thankful for those who have served and are currently serving our country in all branches of the Armed Forces,” stated Beth Duncan, regent of the local DAR chapter.
They also packed two boxes of goodies and mailed them to a soldier currently deployed in Syria.
Members of DAR Old Choctaw County Chapter placing wreaths honoring veterans included Sue Boatman, Sandra Lobrano, Rachel Hunt, Sheila Fondren, Glenda Clark, Jo Anne Willers, Wanda Moore, Shana Fondren and Beth Duncan.
