Join Crossway Church this Friday, Dec. 6, and Saturday, Dec. 7, for an interactive live walk-thru Nativity — “Return to Bethlehem.”
Times are Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 5- 8 p.m. Large groups are encouraged to call ahead to schedule a time on these nights and individuals may also schedule a tour time if you would like. This is a community event that is kid-friendly and handicapped accessible.
You will experience the journey of Joseph and Mary through the village of Bethlehem complete with paying taxes, interactive activities in the marketplace with dye shop, jewelry making, pottery, produce and meat market, bread making and brick making, where you will receive items that you will be able to keep as souvenirs.
You will experience the great news of the birth of Christ as the shepherds in a field of live sheep receive the message heralded by the angel. Travel on to the inn where there was no room and then to the place where the Christ child lay in swaddling clothes surrounded by Joseph and Mary and a host of live animals. Then enter the palace of the wise men with a live camel as they prepare to make the journey following the bright star of Bethlehem.
With realistic sets from biblical times, live greenery, live animals, authentic biblical costumes and characters, this is an event you will not want to miss.
This is a free event for you and your family, however, donations are accepted to help with future productions like this.
The Crossway Church is located at 811 Veterans Memorial Blvd. (across from McDonald’s) in Eupora. You may call Pastor Chris Ray at 662.744.2898 or Associate Pastor Brandon Cole at 904.772.4088 for information, questions or to book a group.
Come and let’s celebrate the birth of Jesus together this holiday season. He came as a baby in a manger but grew to be a man then later died on the Cross for you and me and is the King of kings and Lord of lords!
Invite all your friends to come and experience “Return to Bethlehem” this Christmas!
