Cornerstone Clinic will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, May 8th at 6:00 P.M. at the multi-purpose room of Winston Medical Center’s Administrative Building. The public is invited to attend as officers and board members are elected for the 2018-2019 year. Membership dues may be paid that night or mailed to P. O. Box 561 Louisville, MS 39339. Individual membership is $25. Couples may join for $35 while businesses or groups are asked to pay $100. Donations are greatly appreciated as well.
An active 501c(3) nonprofit organization, Cornerstone Clinic is located at 2286 South Church Avenue. The clinic addresses the medical needs of those in Winston County who are uninsured and receive no government assistance. Cornerstone Clinic is staffed by volunteers- doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, clerical staff, and janitors. Services offered include free office visits, some medications, and limited lab work. Seeing an average of 25 patients per week, the clinic is supported entirely by donations from individuals, churches, civic organizations, businesses, and reimbursements for medical records. Currently, the clinic is open on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
