There is a new club in town. The Controllers Generation III 4-H Club is now in session.
Members range from the age of 5 to 13, Cloverbuds and Juniors. It will focus on nutrition and citizenship. The club held several workshops during spring break and members attended their first advisory meeting. Teen leaders from the Controllers Generation II will assist new members.
“I am overwhelmed to see another generation of 4-Hers under my leadership,” Rose Coffey Graham said. “It is my prayer that all of them be successful in life and they are our future leaders.”
Chavonne Gibson, Marketta Williams, Nicole Jones, Karla Turner, Lisa Williams, Santee Johnson and Ralecia Gibbs are the leaders also.
A parade was held and they all enjoyed a Kids in the Kitchen activity to prepare healthy snacks for elderly and disabled members in the community.
