Shuffield Landscape Service was out all over town Dec. 31 taking care of Maben Home and Garden Club business at the Maben Public Library planting pansies and at the four-way stop rejuvenating the planted areas plus straightening up a leaning highway sign. Thanks guys.
The beautification projects around town are strictly financed by the Maben Home and Garden Club, which raises the funds for these projects by selling the community birthday calendars, which are sold during August. Please help us keep our town looking better.
Currently the club has planted the four-way stop corners, the Welcome to Maben sign, the Maben Public Library frontage, the corners of the Maben Post Office and Joy Dodd`s corner, and the strip between the Maben Post Office and the library.
In addition to these areas, 25 crape myrtles were planted years ago as an anniversary gift to the town. Maintenance to these areas are serviced by Shuffield Landscape Service.
