Most people normally get up on Saturday morning preparing breakfast, but members of Pleasant Grove Robinson M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Eddie Wooten got up and prepared over 200 fruit baskets for the community.
They did not label the baskets as being from them but added inspirational messages in addition to the fruits and other tasty items in the beautiful clear bowls.
Yes, First Lady Joyce Wooten, Sis. Sally Neely, and Minister Daisy Totton along with two of her children, Bro. John Totton and Sis. Tina Young, were greeting those who picked up the baskets with beautiful smiles and holiday cheer.
Members of the Controllers 4-H clubs assisted them with delivering baskets to elderly members in the community and residents in a local nursing home. Wooten said they did it with pride in honor of Pastor George Sanders, who passed away.
The community salutes Pleasant Grove Robinson M.B. Church for this good deed.
