Easter Fun Day
The JDMhoon Youth Outreach Foundation announces its first Easter Fun Day initiative.
The Fun Day will be a communitywide, all-inclusive event from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Whites Creek Lake. An Easter egg hunt will take place within the first hour for children between 2 and 10. However, the event is for children of all ages, and will include bouncers, games and refreshments.

‘All Twisted Up’
FLEXenity will present “All Twisted Up” at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Eupora Community Center. Jaylon the Contortionist from Chicago will perform.
The program is sponsored by Eupora Community Outreach Ministry.

East Webster’s
indoor exhibition
The East Webster High School band will be hosting an indoor exhibition in the school gymnasium starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 3.
Surrounding schools’ directors will bring their indoor percussion and Winter Guard groups to East Webster to put on a show for the families and surrounding communities.
A full concession stand will be available and admission is $5 per person. All proceeds from this event will go to support East Webster’s True Maroon Band

Retired Educators
Local retired educators will meet at 11 a.m. April 4 a Pop’s Family Diner in Mantee. Rickie Vaughn will be the speaker. We hope all retired teachers will be able to attend.
EES kindergarten
registration
Eupora Elementary School will have registration for incoming kindergarten students (who are currently 5 or will be turning 5 before Sept. 1) from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. April 3, 4 and 5.
There will also be a tour and lunch for those students at 10 a.m. April 5.
Please bring your child’s original birth certificate, Social Security card and updated immunization form, along with a completed kindergarten packet. Packets can be picked up at any local child care center or at EES. Please call 258-6735 for questions.
EWES kindergarten

East Webster Elementary School will have kindergarten registration from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. April 4 and 5 for children who will turn 5 on or before Sept. 1.
Registration will be in the EWES library, 200 South St., Mathiston.
These items will need to be provided: original long-form birth certificate, Social Security card, completed up-to-date immunization records and proof of residency. Call 263-8373 for more information.
EHS Merit Banquet
Eupora High School will have its Merit-Awards Banquet at 6:30 p.m. April 19 in the EHS cafeteria.
Tickets may be purchased at the EHS office through April 6 for $10 each. From April 9-13, tickets will be $15 each if available. Presenters should contact the EHS office at 258-4041 by April 4 to reserve a ticket.

Storytime at Webster County Library in Eupora is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for Pre-K children. Pat Ray entertains the children with songs, stories and crafts.

Maben Public Library has storytime every Friday at 10 a.m. featuring many fun activities along with a story.

Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. at North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora’s Education Conference Room.

Maben COG
Easter celebration
Maben Church of God will have an Easter weekend celebration from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
This fun day for the family will feature lunch, games, an Easter egg hunt, live bunny photos and an illustrated children’s Resurrection story. The church is located at 3965 Crowley Drive.
Also, a yard sale for the youth of the church begins at 6 a.m. Saturday at Deweese in Eupora.

Crossway Church is celebrating the life, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ this Easter season.
Resurrection celebration and Communion will be at 10 a.m. April 1, Easter Sunday, with fellowship and Easter egg hunt to follow the worship service. Children ages 0-10 bring your own Easter baskets. There will be no evening worship.

Cross of Christ volunteers invite the public to attend the 2018 Potato Bar from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Good Friday, March 30.
Potato bar and dessert will be served in First Baptist Church of Eupora’s fellowship hall. For takeout orders, please call 258-3491, or you may eat in the fellowship hall.
There is no set price — just give a donation. All donations will go to the Cross of Christ for God’s glory.
