Greetings to the Body of Christ.
Matthew 24:4 says, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” It goes on to say in the 10th verse that many will be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Matthew 18:7 says, “Woe unto the world because of offences! For it must needs be the offences come, but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
Offences hurt like all get-out, and we have all had our share, but we can’t hold onto being hurt and let a root of bitterness spring up.
In Hebrews 12:14-15, the Word says, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
“Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.”
Let’s go back to Matthew 24:12-13, which says, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
“But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.”
There’s so much that we have to endure; we have to look past offences and forgive one another. Matthew 6:1 says, “But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Friend, let go and let God. We tie the Lord’s hands so many times from blessing us because we are still feeling offended. We don’t need things between us and God, neither things between us and mankind.
