The AES sixth grade students have worked hard this year, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Students’ good behavior was recognized, and they were rewarded with a special 3-day trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee.
During this trip, the students visited the Birmingham Zoo and enjoyed a dinner ride on the Southern Belle Riverboat. The next day, after enjoying a science demonstration at the Creative Discovery Museum, they toured the Tennessee Aquarium and viewed an IMAX movie. The students also enjoyed a visit to Superfly Extreme Sports, an indoor trampoline park. On the final day, the students toured Ruby Falls and Rock City, ate at Outback Steakhouse, and headed back to AES.
