MATHISTON — On Feb. 5, Webster County 911 Center had the honor of hosting the annual meeting of the Mississippi 911 Coordinators Association.
Emergency 911 directors from all over the state attended the meeting, and handled many areas of business such as voting in new officers, taking care of association business, receiving updates from legislative actions, early planning for the fall conference in Tunica, receiving committee reports from the association and other business issues.
Those that attended praised Webster County 911 Director Jimmy McLemore for providing the facilities, and making the association’s board feel welcome and taking care of their needs while there were there. They stated the friendly and professional atmosphere of Director McLemore and his staff couldn’t have been any better.
The association board stated it would definitely schedule more meetings at the Webster County 911 Center, and McLemore stated he and his staff will do everything they can to welcome them back. It was a privilege to have them in Webster County.
