“Little Red Riding Hood” was the book of the day for storytime at Webster County Public Library on April 11.
Children played with friends before a time of singing. They chose “The Lord’s Army,” “Wheels on the Bus,” “ B-I-N-G-O” and “6 Little Ducks” before Ms. Pat, dressed in a red cape, read the classic fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood” using a big book and puppets.
After the story, everyone made stick puppets of Little Red Riding Hood, Grandma and the Wolf along with a scene for the story.
Storytime is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
