"Froggy's First Kiss" was so much fun to read Friday at the Maben Public Library. The children enjoyed listening to Froggy's antics about his first girlfriend.
Froggy had a hard time paying attention in class because Frogilina was very distracting. She was pretty and she shared her lunch with Froggy on a couple of occasions. She also gave him a heart-shaped cookie. Froggy made a valentine and wrote “I Love You” on it but he didn't give it to Frogilina. He gave it to his mother because she was his someone special!
The children decorated valentine bags to put all the valentines their friends had brought for them. After exchanging valentines they enjoyed a party with cookies, Cheetos and Capri Suns.
Friday we had Bo, Kaylee Jo, Abel and Sarah Berry; Andrew, Rani, Jonas, James Walter and Mary Martha Scrivener; Joshua, Lydia, Mason and Marylea Thornton; John Wyatt, Adelyn and Brittany Parker; Kinsley Dodd; and Maddox and Katie Huffman.
