Webster County School Board accepts bid for insurance

The Webster County School Board has accepted a bid for the district’s insurance. The matter was first discussed June 10, according to minutes of that meeting. Superintendent James Mason and the board heard a presentation from Artie Grimes representing Marketplace for Insurance for the district’s insurance for school year 2024-25.

Eupora man killed in Pittsboro crash

A Eupora man died the afternoon of July 14 in a two-vehicle accident in front of the Calhoun County Jail in Pittsboro. Robert L.
