Kelly Ginn, self-contained special needs teacher at East Webster Elementary School,
was the Eupora Rotary Club’s guest speaker on Nov. 19. She discussed plans for a
fenced-in sensory education playground that would connect to her classroom. Ginn
said its purpose will be to meet her students’ physical, mental and sensory needs.
East Webster High School’s Interact Club, which is sponsored by Rotary, has been
fundraising for the playground as a service project. The PTO and EWHS cheerleaders
have also made donations, and others have donated in-kind work.
