NATIONAL SUMMARY
Locally drenching thunderstorms from eastern Massachusetts
to northern Virginia can cause ponding on streets and
highways tomorrow. Rain will pose a flash flood risk in a
broad swath from southeastern Colorado to southern Kansas,
northern Oklahoma, southern Missouri, northern Arkansas,
Tennessee and southern Kentucky and West Virginia. The North
American monsoon will continue in the Southwest, although
rain should be a bit lighter than in recent days. Elsewhere,
just a few spotty showers are expected in upstate New York
