NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a front remains stalled tomorrow, thunderstorms are
expected across the Ohio and Tennessee valleys, as well as
portions of the mid-Atlantic. In locations that receive
multiple rounds of storms, flash flooding will be a threat,
especially in areas with mountainous terrain. Isolated
storms may also turn severe, with strong wind gusts as the
primary hazard. Along the Gulf coast, isolated storms are
also expected, however are unlikely to be as intense. High
heat is forecast to continue in the Northwest states. High
temperatures in the 80s are likely along the immediate
coast, with 90s and 100s farther inland and in cities such
as Seattle and Portland, Oregon. Isolated storms driven by
the North American monsoon will continue in the Southwest,
