NATIONAL SUMMARY
High winds and heavy snow will continue to make travel
nearly impossible in North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota
tomorrow. Afternoon thunderstorms are likely to rumble from
southern New York southward to the Florida Panhandle.
Widespread severe weather is not expected, but a few of the
storms may contain locally gusty winds. A separate area of
spotty thunderstorms will fire up in the afternoon over the
central and South Florida Peninsula. To the north, a steady
rain in the afternoon is expected in much of New England.
The next system will move ashore with rain and mountain snow
in the West. The heaviest precipitation is expected to be
focused on southern Oregon and Northern California. The
central and southern Plains and the Southwest are forecast
to have a dry day.
