The Nation's Weather for Monday, February 10, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Warm conditions are in store for the Southeast tomorrow;
however, a bit of rain and drizzle will dampen the region
from Western Texas through North Carolina. Late in the day
and overnight, rain will become more steady across the lower
Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys and there can be some snow
and ice that will mix in. In the northern Plains, Arctic air
will push into the region, which will lead to extreme cold
that can be dangerous for outdoor activities, especially
toward the Canadian border. A bit of snow will also coat
portions of the northern Rockies. Elsewhere, cold conditions
will expand into the Midwest and Northeast and a band of
lake-effect snow can be expected downwind of Lake Ontario.
Across the Southwest, dry conditions are expected along with
partly sunny skies.
