The Nation's Weather for Saturday, January 25, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A quick burst of snow moving from Wyoming to Colorado can
bring slippery travel and reduced visibility tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a few showers will move onshore in Southern
California. Due to the lack of rain recently, rain could
make roadways slippery. The rain will also reduce the fire
risk and make fire containment easier. In South Texas, a few
showers late in the day will intensify overnight, possibly
becoming heavy. There can be a few snow showers in the Great
Lakes states; otherwise, it will primarily be dry. After
many days of bitterly cold conditions, the cold air mass
will move off the coast. This will bring the return of
higher temperatures closer to the historical average for
late January to the East. Meanwhile, a gusty breeze will
usher in a cooler air mass across the northern Plains.
