NATIONAL SUMMARY
From southern Missouri to eastern Texas, thunderstorms will
rumble tomorrow. In eastern Texas, thunderstorms can contain
damaging wind gusts, hail, flooding downpours and even a
tornado. Rain in the central Plains will change over to
drizzle in the Midwest and western Great Lakes region. Some
drizzle may freeze on surfaces early, especially in
Wisconsin and Michigan, leading to slippery travel.
Meanwhile, the West Coast will continue to get drenched as
yet another storm pushes into the region. Rainfall totals
along the Oregon and Northern California coasts could
surpass 8 inches. On the coast, strong winds can lead to
travel disruptions and power outages. In the Rockies there
can be a few snow showers. Along the East coast, it will be
primarily dry with mild temperatures and limited sunshine.
