NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm is anticipated to move through the Tennessee
Valley tomorrow, bringing strong-to-severe thunderstorms to
much of the Southeast from the Gulf Coast to the Carolinas.
These storms are forecast to produce flash flooding, hail,
isolated tornadoes and damaging wind gusts to at least six
states. To the north, steady rain is likely across the Ohio
Valley, the mid-Atlantic and portions of the Upper Midwest.
There can be gusty winds along with rain and snow showers
along the Rocky Mountains, as well as some showers in the
Pacific Northwest. Elsewhere will be largely dry as heat
begins to build in the far Southwest and southern Texas.
Severe thunderstorms are expected to continue into the
evening in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.
