NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms can bring flooding downpours and localized
damaging wind gusts to western and central New York, much of
Pennsylvania, central and eastern Ohio, northeastern
Kentucky, West Virginia, northern and western Maryland and
northern Virginia tomorrow. Storms with locally heavy rain
can stretch from western Virginia through Tennessee and into
Arkansas. Much of Louisiana can have thunderstorms
throughout the day. Spotty afternoon thunderstorms can
rumble through the southern Plains, southern Four Corners
region and central and South Florida. Heat will expand
across the Pacific Northwest and northern Rockies, with some
temperatures approaching records. In addition to the Pacific
Northwest and northern Rockies, the central Rockies and the
northern and central Plains can expect a dry day.
