NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large storm will continue traveling to the east into the
Great Lakes tomorrow, spreading showers and thunderstorms
across a large part of the East. A risk of severe
thunderstorms will develop from Tennessee to southern
Michigan and as far east as western Pennsylvania. All severe
hazards will be possible, including flash flooding, hail,
locally damaging wind gusts and even isolated tornadoes.
Snow and colder air will move into the northern Rockies,
while warm and dry conditions will continue across much of
the South. A southerly breeze will continue to bring humid
air into the South Central states. Gusty winds from the
northwest will usher colder air into the northern Plains and
temperatures will trend 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit lower than
historical averages.
